Penn State All Sports Museum
TThe museum honors the student-athletes and coaches who have helped make the University’s athletic program one of the finest in the nation. The museum tells the inspiring story of Penn State sports through historic photographs and other interpretive displays, including the equipment athletes used and the uniforms they wore. You’ll see such highlights as John Capelletti’s 1973 Heisman Trophy and the Olympic Gold Medal that track star Horace Ashenfelter won in 1952. Interactive exhibits invite you to experience what it feels like to punch a leather-covered heavy bag, take on another wrestler, grip a discus, and hold a turn-of-the-century football. Check with the museum for hours of operation and admission fees.
